Jill McCrory
Vice
Chairperson
Jill is presently
serving as an MCC interim minister in the Washington, DC area. She worked for the last
five years to build a Baptist contingent in the
Capital Pride parade. That contingent included five welcoming and
affirming Baptist churches in the most recent parade and a presence at
the festival.
She was introduced
to AWAB in 2004 by Sandi John, former AWAB Council member. Jill brought
the Council through their most recent visioning process. Her prayer is
that AWAB will grow to be the influential and sustaining voice that the
Council has envisioned.
Jill is a principal
of Leadership Outfitters, a leadership development company that
specializes in training governing boards, volunteers and staff of
non-profits, associations, professional societies, and faith
organizations. She is married to Jack (yes, Jack and Jill) a retired
Navy Captain. Jill is presently earning a Masters of Divinity at The
John Leland Center for Theological Studies.
